after a while i came accross this message, too. But i've also realized that i haven't got a clue how to apply a patch!! anyone ? the webpage seems to suggest a direct change in the source of Sage, but i can't even locate the right file (it's meant to be plot.py and i've got many files in my system with that name...) it seems this fix would make the plots appear within emacs.
