Well, without the sources this is somewhat hard. And I don't
understand why the dynamic kernel is supposed to be faster. When I
build Singular 3.0.4 on MIPS 64 I ran into the same problem and added
some defines to make it compile with the dynamic kernel, but then it
complained at startup about similar issues as Simon observed.
So, does someone know how much of a performance impact the dynamic
kernel has?

Well, given that it is last week's CVS that might not be a good
idea :)

AFAIK the crash has been resolved, i.e. that was when Simon used the
NTL from Singular so that rebuilding Sage's extension linked against
libSingular blew up.
