Hi, I've got a crash report, which might be a blocker for 3.2.3:

In the course of building and installing 3.2.3.final, an empty file "/
Users/georgweber/.sage/init.sage" was created (I remember having seen
the corresponding output line).

Now trying to start (the older version) Sage 3.2.2, IPython chokes,
and Sage won't start up!

The lengthy Traceback essentially is about testing for the first
character to be a hash ("#"), but of course, there is no first
character, resulting in a "IndexError: string index out of range". I
can post the full "IPython_crash_report.txt" if you need it. This
seems to be an issue with IPython, not Sage itself in the "narrow"
sense, of course (IPython should handle gracefully an empty init
file), but nevertheless I didn't ask the new version of Sage to create
this file and thus disabling any old versions of Sage I have, and
possibly still want to work with ...

I didn't check out yet Sage 3.2.3(final) itself, if it starts up with
the empty "init.sage" file, or putting a space or something similar
into "init.sage". But I have to leave for several hours.

Cheers,
gsw
