Hi folks, I'm a bit behind the times. I just upgraded to sage-3.2.1 on my various machines and ran tests. All is fine except on
[EMAIL PROTECTED] sage]$ uname -a Linux orphus.ms.unimelb.edu.au 2.6.9-78.0.1.ELsmp #1 SMP Tue Jul 22 18:01:05 EDT 2008 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux where tests/book_stein_ent.py hangs. I've tried this several times with the same outcome. The place where it hangs seems to be line 289, which factors an integer using a quadratic sieve. It also hangs if I try the relevant code manually in a sage session.
