There are two that would be excellent additions, Trilinos - http://trilinos.sandia.gov/ PETSc - http://www-unix.mcs.anl.gov/petsc/petsc-as/ Both of them have python interfaces and are designed for parallel computation. However, Trilinos is GPL V2.1+ while the license for PETSc is different and I'm not sure it is GPL compatible. In fact, I'm pretty sure it isn't. Trilinos accordingly has parallel numerical linear algebra code that I'm sure would be useful to others besides those solving PDEs. It's latest release is 24MB for the package.
