I agree, if you say "around the world", there should be a world map, not
just a most-of-the-continental-US map, western Europe map, and so on.
And I'm not just saying that because I am "The Guy In Korea". :)

(I would start with the world map and then do the smaller ones. You
could zoom in on Duluth -- or wherever -- and tell the audience that
there should be more flags there!)
