The build issues on the two Itaniums as well as PPC OSX have been
fixed in the upcoming rc0.

I have seen the cicero hang, otherwise I will have a look in more
detail with rc0 which should be out later today. I have a list of
blockers ready to go once I post an rc0 tarball.
