I don't run it on Windows but on Linux. I use it to build/test M4RI under OpenSolaris and Windows XP which are both very well supported as guest systems (Linux is also well supported as a guest system). It seems to have all the bell and whistles people expect these days: copy 'n' paste, seamless mode etc. So I'd say it is worth a try.
