Hello, > So, can't someone develop a new programming language > that could interact all the properties of the most widely used languages? > Again sorry if the question is not meaningful :)
I think creating a new language would hurt the problem more than help it since you have yet another language to support, find developers for, build up a critical mass, maintain, etc. Plus, most of the developers here would probably rather use a language rather than write one. Sage uses Python for these reasons. A better solution might be to work on tools to allow better interaction within the existing languages. Examples of this include Cython or getting Maxima to run on ECL. --Mike --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ To post to this group, send email to sage-devel@googlegroups.com To unsubscribe from this group, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] For more options, visit this group at http://groups.google.com/group/sage-devel URLs: http://www.sagemath.org -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
