Now that the binaries are up I will post the changelog to sage-announce.
Details for the tickets of 3.0.5 can be seen at

   http://trac.sagemath.org/sage_trac/milestone/sage-3.0.5

But 3.0.5 introduce a bug for the GF(2^e) modulus, so you might want to wait
for that one to be fixed in 3.0.6.
