Ok, I didn't know about dash being used by Debian and Ubuntu.

Well, the only difference between those gmp.spkgs and the one in 3.0.2
is the upgrade to gmp 4.2.2. So the shell issue was there in many
previous sage releases, so I am surprised that it did work. Anyway,
the issue will be fixed in Sage 3.0.3.
