Same machine, different operating systems. Machine: Macbook, 2 GHz Intel Core Duo OS 1: Ubuntu 7.10. But I just noticed that "sage -version" reports: | SAGE Version 3.0, Release Date: 2008-04-22 | So I'm not sure if these problems are related to this upgrade or the earlier 3.0 to 3.0.1 upgrade. "sage -upgrade" went smoothly. "sage -testall" had the following errors: sage -t devel/sage/sage/stats/test.py sage -t devel/sage/sage/interfaces/sage0.py sage -t devel/sage/sage/misc/randstate.pyx Here is the logfile: http://www.lacim.uqam.ca/~saliola/sage/logs/test-3.0.2-Ubuntu7.10.log OS 2: Mac OS X 10.4. "sage -upgrade" from a compiled (not binary) sage-3.0.1 didn't work: sage: An error occurred while installing python_gnutls-1.1.4.p3 make: *** [installed/python_gnutls-1.1.4.p3] Error 1 I can't track down the problem. I can't find a log file of the upgrade, so I'm not sure how to get you more information. The install.log file that I have is from the 3.0.1 compile, and you can find it here: http://www.lacim.uqam.ca/~saliola/sage/logs/install-3.0.1-OSX-10.4.log Take care, Franco -- --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ To post to this group, send email to sage-devel@googlegroups.com To unsubscribe from this group, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] For more options, visit this group at http://groups.google.com/group/sage-devel URLs: http://www.sagemath.org -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
