Hi,

Here was a question that was just sent to the Magma mailing list.
It's the sort of thing that could motivate what we implement in Sage.
Are we going to implement tensor products in some generality
soon? It keeps coming up. Maybe it's time to discuss this.

Subject: Tensor products

Hello,

 I got to know a little more about Magma and how it works. But again I
would like to do something and do not know how:

 I have two rings and would like to work with elements in their tensor product.

 In Magma I just found the following functions to form tensor products of rings:

 TensorProduct(A, B) : AlgMat, AlgMat -> AlgMat
 TensorProduct(A, B) : AlgBas, AlgBas-> AlgBas
 TensorProduct(M, N) : ModGrp, ModGrp -> ModGrp

 So I suppose there are not any other methods to work with more
general tensor products?

 Kind regards,
 Udo
