We already implemented that two different ways. Both ways were too slow and/or inconsistent, so we disabled/removed the functionality. When it comes to the notebook (which is in javascript), that it feels snappy and works robustly is more important than it having too many features. We have also experimented with much more sophisticated "code editor" modes in the input worksheet cells -- but again snappiness and robustness are too much impacted. > Also, I think that default line truncation can be improved: sometimes > even if a line fits my screen without horizontal scrolling it gets > truncated and I need to click on the output (twice) to make it look > better. For about 2/3 the things I personally want to output word wrap is better, and for the other half, word wrap is worse. > > > > > > -- William Stein Associate Professor of Mathematics University of Washington http://wstein.org --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ To post to this group, send email to sage-devel@googlegroups.com To unsubscribe from this group, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] For more options, visit this group at http://groups.google.com/group/sage-devel URLs: http://www.sagemath.org -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
