Hello everybody, My name is David Ayotte and I'm a PhD student in mathematics at Concordia University. I'm currently participating in the program Google Summer of Code 2021 for SageMath where I will be implementing the graded ring of quasimodular forms for the full modular group (mentored by Vincent Delecroix). This will be my first "big contribution" to SageMath as I have only reviewed some tickets in the past (when I participated in the Sage Days 87).
Throughout the summer, I will be updating a blog on my website: https://davidayotte.github.io/ In particular, I will post my work there and how I progress. Also, if you are interested in this project, I suggest that you check these relevant trac tickets: #31512 <https://trac.sagemath.org/ticket/31512> #31559 <https://trac.sagemath.org/ticket/31559> #31560 <https://trac.sagemath.org/ticket/31560> Any comments and/or suggestions are more than welcome. To reach me and discuss, you can join the stream on Zulip: https://sagemath.zulipchat.com/#narrow/stream/289230-quasi-modular-forms I'm looking forward to discussing with some of you!
