I had checked the examples on Maple 10. I also have access to 9.5, and it gives 
similar results to what Jaap is getting.

Should we consider supporting different versions of Maple?

Can anybody, who's familiar with Maple, suggest a more consistent command to 
print things out in Maple?

You're right, the tests should have the optional keyword, so they are not 
always checked. I was fooled by the tests in the beginning of the file, which 
don't specify the keyword explicitly. Now I understand that they don't have to, 
because the docstring has the words "optional", "package" and "installed."
