Hello folks, right on the heels of the 2.10 release here is 2.10.1.alpha0. Since we closed 28 tickets during Bug Day 9 with the help of many - more about that once I have caught some sleep - it seems a good idea to get this tested. Since we updated the GNUTLS and packages it depends on I am especially curious about any notebook issue that might pop up. Some progress was made toward integrating build fixes for a 64 bit OSX version. The coolest patch, not that the other patches aren't cool - but flashy graphics beat pretty much anything out there, is probably Robert Bradshaw's work on unifying the 2D and 3D graphics system - see some examples at #1859.
The tarball [201MB] is available at http://sage.math.washington.edu/home/mabshoff/release-cycles-2.10.1/sage-2.10.1.alpha0.tar As you can see below the merge que contains well over 50 patches and as I wrote in the other mail to sage-devel just hours earlier if you have some time please review some of those patches. It seems that the 2.10.1 release might be close to done if we end up merging another 50 tickets.
