A new patch has been posted to http://sage.math.washington.edu/home/wdj/patches/tut20071227.hg Passes sage -t. Also, the new version of tut.tex is at http://sage.math.washington.edu/home/wdj/patches/tut.tex This includes the fixes of every typo i know of and some added examples.
