Wait -- are you saying we patched

    gmp-4.2.1/src/

I hope not!?  The only patching of the src directory should be done
by spkg-install.  If it isn't that is very very bad.

Yes, definitely.  We may as well upgrade to gmp-4.2.2 if possible
soon.  I just upgraded the pari spkg to 2.3.3:

so it's your turn to upgrade something :-)
