What is lisp.run? I was doing a pretty simple calculation, which ended up taking a long time (12+ hours, I was expecting maybe 30 minutes tops), and I noticed that lisp.run seemed to be doing all the work. After poking around, my best guess is that it was somehow being called by the abs() function through pari or maxima (I had a loop that was doing about 180,000 calls to abs()).
I also managed to crash my sage server to some extent, so I can't immediately supply better diagnostics - interrupting the calculation didn't work, so I tried quitting/restarting the worksheet, and now I can't access the server at all. When I get in to my office I can check this out in more detail. By running 'tops' remotely it looks like my other worksheet processes are still hanging around but I am not sure.
