I've been playing the last few days with the Enthought suite, which aims
to create an Eclipse-like tool for python. I think having a Sage plugin
for the Enthought suite would be a _very_ powerful thing and would
leverage the graphing tools that they already have (like tvtk and the 2d
grapher).

As a plus, all this interactive widget stuff should be very easy to
write in their Traits framework.

The author's suggestion of embedding Python and lots of libraries and a
graphing interface into Eclipse is then accomplished, using Enthought
instead of Eclipse.
