Hi, The program mentioned below is a reasonably small GPL'd Java applet that does a bunch of numerical analysis. It might be of interest to somebody on sage-devel.

In 1999 while taking numerical analysis I was unable to get some of the private software packages to properly make calculations for specific cases. Maybe if I could of afforded the thousands of dollars for more advanced tools I could of at least got results that were somewhat exact. Anyway from this experience was born the NA_WorkSheet.
