Hello,

After 2.8.7 I tried 2.8.14 on PPC Linux. Except for the need to use
GFortran via "export SAGE_FORTRAN=`which gfortran`" everything compile
out of the box.

But there are three doctest failures (two of which I fixed) and a
crash upon exit (for which Robert had a patch that proved a
workaround). With those three patches the only open issue is the sfa
doctest failure attributed to some big endian problem in symmetrica -
which also bit me on Solaris/Sparc. So overall we should have a 99.99%
port on Linux PPC 32 bit once 2.8.15 is out.

Cheers,

Michael
