I believe that this is fixed - at least the short easy part.

I'm running ./sage -t right now to make sure that no new problems have
been introduced. Someone should probably spend a few minutes looking at
the patch to make sure that it doesn't do anything stupid, though, as
this is my first real attempt at touching pyrex/sagex/cython code.
