I think the SEA point counting code totally fails under Cygwin.
If you doctest schemes/elliptic_curves/ell_finite_field.py you'll
see this.   I think this is another case where the authors (of SEA
in this case) never attempted to use their code under Cygwin.

I vaguely recall that I noticed something else pari-related when
running all the SAGE doctests.
