Thank you for conducting the poll, AbdelMonam. That matter is then settled: Ubuntu LTS.
But the still more important question is: are there enough people ready to commit sufficient serious time to the project, Insha'Allah? I think that every main aspect should have a designated responsible person as well as a fully committed backup. If that cannot be arranged, there is a serious danger of the entire project coming to halt, once again. Any volunteers should be aware that it probably can't be seen as a 'hobby' activity that can be easily pushed aside.
Although I might be willing, at my age I find it impossible to keep up with the speed of technological developments.
