There is the Debian Islamic Maintainers[1] team already in Debian, which is concerned with packaging Islamic software for Debian. I would encourage those who are interested in packaging Islamic software to join that team, as packages that get into Debian would be also available for Ubuntu & hence Sabily via sync processes.
