Assalamo alaykom, Sorry to be late for this review but I was very busy, hereafter you find my remarks: PS @brother Muayyad: I like very much Thawab from its first version so I don't forget it, just a question of time to send you my point of view.
First of all I like very much Thawab 3, his GUI is very well done, its search mechanism is very good..well very good job brother Muayyad, jazakallaho khayran... Let's start with remarks: * Indexing is not automatically when we add a book: we should run it manually --> it should be done directly after adding a new book * user guide should have an English version * GUI should be translated also (البحث, الكتب المتوفرة...) * the link: الكتب المتوفرة doesn't work * I have an idea and I don't know if it is the same as the one behind the link: الكتب المتوفرة in fact I propose to have an index of existing books that can be read by Thawab and they are available via internet and a mechanism to get them directly from internet and add them to Thawab to be read after that in stand alone (even without connection), the need for that is to prevent simple user from searching on the net in many "repositories" to get .bok files, so via Thawab directly (and even if he is not connected to internet) he will get a list of books avalaible classified by subjects (akida, hadith...), and if he hasn't an internet connection he will take his laptop and go to internet coffe or a friend house.. and there via a simple click on Thawab he download and install books he need and come back at home to read them, it will be very good solution for simple user and the ones that haven't internet connection. Well this is a quick review on Thawab, insh'Allah if I have any other idea or comment I will contact you directly brother Muayyad :) For brother Ahmed: I propose to package Thawab with at least one book, so when some one get Sabily for the first time he can see what Thawab is and what it can offer to him, so he can install books after that, it will be useful also for the one who make demo via Sabily live DVD... can you package it like that? for the book to put we can decide that after, just I would like to know if we can do that or not?
