I agree with this but I do have a suggestion. Most of these battles were named 
after the places they were fought in so why nt have pictures of these places in 
the design and include battle statistics on the side.

I'd prefer to have pictures matching the codenames, it would be more attractive 
for users; with each new release, the codename will give them the theme of 
pictures and artwork used. For example, with "al-quds" name they would expect 
wallpapers with related pictures.
Otherwise I don't see the point of having codenames, the version number is 
already enough to differenciate each release.
