I doubt it ! They are using files that they do not have copyrights on, such as: * Scheherazade font (which already exists in Debian & Ubuntu anyways). * quran-text.txt (from Tanzil.info) Both of the above are *NOT* GPL. Anyways, I am working on the packaging now, but if you know the bro who made the software ask him the following: * Provide a detailed copyright info (ie. what files are under which license/copyright), he can simply say that all files are GPL and he (and his friends) own the copyrights for years X-Y, except for files such & such, and mention the license/copyright of those remaining files. * Is there a difference between the Sheherazade font in his package & the original Scheherazade font by SIL ? -- أحمد المحمودي (Ahmed El-Mahmoudy) Digital design engineer GPG KeyID: 0xEDDDA1B7 GPG Fingerprint: 8206 A196 2084 7E6D 0DF8 B176 BC19 6A94 EDDD A1B7 _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~sabily.team Post to : sabily.team@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~sabily.team More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
