Wa Alaikum Salaam. Masha Allah there was a long list of ideas that a brother had sent a while ago. I hope we're including those.
For Monajat, I suggested having the option of including the Arabic text along with the transliteration and the translation. The Arabic text is useful for reciting the actual dhikr (and promotion of the Arabic language), but without the harakaat the transliteration becomes necessary for those of us whose primary language is other than 'Arabiyya. The translation is necessary to aid us with knowing the meaning of the dhikr. I also noticed that the source of the dhikr is missing from this version (previous versions had it), which is also necessary to include for peace of mind that the dhikr is authentic. I know the brother who is the lead on Monajat asked me questions and for wireframes/screen-mockups, and I have not got around sending those. Insha Allah I plan to this weekend. Also, can we include support for wireless network connectivity? I know this may be a Ubuntu carryover and I don't have the details of the hardware with me right now but on my laptop the strength of the connection starts out strong but then becomes less and less with time and network usage. PuppyLinux does a pretty good job with setting up the connection - even offering the option of using a Windows driver. Jazaak Allah Khair.
