It's partially my fault, since I subscribed sabily.team to this bug during the development cycle of karmic, the reason was that the method of making a theme for GDM changed in karmic, and I wanted the team to be following what's going on (especially the artists). Anyways, this thing lately turned into a silly flame war indeed.
