Well, when I look at it from a historical perspective, we used to have that logo when the distro was named Ubuntu Muslim Edition, so it had some reason to use the circle of friends. But after changing the name, I don't see the need of it. Besides, I don't think that the arabic logo would be clear when it is inside the circle of friends.
