Hi,
I think you are just referring to a newer version of the same library for
gathering performance metrics, by the same author ("codahale").
S4 currently uses metrics 2.1.3. The latest version of metrics is 3.0.0. Some
implementation and configuration detail have changed but it works pretty much
the same.
