I read someplace that the Linux file permissions and dates could be stored in the AWS S3 metadata, and that s3cmd could accomplish this. However, I can't find examples of this being done or in the documentation. Perhaps I overlooked it. Could someone please clarify if s3cmd can do this? If so, either provide an example or documentation/article that covers this? Thanks!
