Hello all,

I am looking in to using s3cmd to sync some folders to an s3 type setup (ceph)
on a regular basis.

One of the things we are thinking about doing is storing meta-data with the
objects, I have been looking at clients (dragondisk, crossftp, etc) that have a
'do not update meta-data option' so that we do not overwrite our custom tags
(x-amz-meta) if the file gets uploaded again after it is set the first time.

I am wondering if this is possible with s3cmd sync.

If it does not currently exist...I am wondering if the functionality could be
added at some point in the future.

Thanks in advance,

Shain
