Hi

I've tried looking in the forum, but couldn't find an answer.
I've got a couple of bash scripts on an ec2 instance that I'm testing.
I'm trying to get the scripts to use s3cmd sync to backup and restore
certain folders on shutdown and startup respectively.
So far so good, except every time they restore, the owner and group
has been changed to root for everything restored, and some of the
permissions are changed as well. (Its on Ubuntu 10.04)

Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks in advance
James
