How to do that in a portable way? On Linux it can probably get away with some matching against /proc/mounts but how about other systems? Perhaps we can get some hints in rsync or du sources... IMO it's easier to simply --exclude what's not supposed to be uploaded. I'm keen to accept a sane patch, otherwise it'll stay buried low on my todo list I'm afraid.
