Does the server that runs s3browser have access to the internet? Because
not your workstation but the server needs to talk to Amazon.

In any case I don't recommend using s3browser - there hasn't been any
development since about two years ago and the software is lacking
support for many features introduced to Amazon S3 in recent months.

I suggest you give s3cmd (http://s3tools.logix.cz/s3cmd) a try. Although
it's a different sort of tool (command line instead of browser based) it
is under active development and may fulfil requirements just as well.
