Steffen, Great, thanks! Yes, you are welcome to adjust any way you see fit; no need to directly take my path nor even give attribution in a commit. I only wanted to clarify where was my confusion and to save you some work of finding where and how in the manpage to address that.
I agree the current "Message states" text should also mention the "saved" behavior. I will send another patch for that, this time based on "next" commit f978112a. Again, you are welcome to use it as an initial suggestion or any way you see fit. Oops, I do see the duplicated Date header on my end. I tried v14.9.25, which still sends two Date headers. Then I tried "next", which now sends only one Date header. So, for giggles, I will try again git send-email. I didn't directly receive your reply, probably because in the patch I managed to add a dot to my email address when there really isn't one. Here I attempted to continue the thread by using the Message-Id shown on the web archive. If this message appears in a new thread, I didn't succeed. Maybe I also should have CCed myself. Anyway, no harm done. Thanks for maintaining this project. -- Ryan
