I have tested it and of course the new file is read in! ..And it always did, the problem only was that we were blocking on network I/O, if you waited long enough you would have been returned to the prompt and the composed message was updated. The IMAP session and the editor session have absolutely nothing in common. And we do _not_ leave temporary files laying around, unless we would crash.
