That was a conscious commit [a99becbc] (main.c: set
MAILSEND_HEADERS_PRINT for interactive send mode, 2019-07-11).
I work with *editalong*=v, and when not i saw myself hanging.

Ok, i did not do that with *asksub* etc. and/or not *askatend*,
