As a first step we could offer the optional possibility to generate names for `Copy' and `Save' by URL encoding the entire address, as in $ s-nail -X'urlcodec enc [email protected]' -Xx steffen%40sdaoden.eu I must admit that i _never_ have used `Copy' and `Save' until now, because the functionality seemed so useless to me, i always have to apply manual intervention. This feature could be the first step to something better. Maybe even without URL encoding the network address. Hm. Another step could be a command which rewrites the address, like `charsetalias' does for character sets. And yet another one would be a user-defined hook function which is passed in some message header fields, and which mangles together whichever name it wants to generate from that. I have to think about that. ... | I just noticed something: | | s2 NYTimes | |works; | | s2 nytimes | |returns the error. nytimes is a link to NYTimes. Maybe disallowing following of symbolic links was a no-go. We use open(O_EXCL) if following symbolic links would hurt, so i think this was too strict.
