Thank you very much for reporting this problem!
It unfortunately has something to do with -S "freezing" *from*, so
that -r cannot overwrite *from* with the desired value since
September 2017 or so. I put the essential fix on [master] etc.,
and a nicer one with test to [next], because cherry-picking tests
is a bit hard at the moment.
Please let me continue to assume that the Desy laser Petra III has
set in a thaw. Interesting link with the nano cellulose, too,
i have yet not heard that mankind has invented something stronger
and also more elastic than the spinning threads of spiders! Just
a few days ago there was a tiny spider (maybe 3 millimeters)
beside my shower, and she (or he) managed to produce the thread so
fast that it looked as if she would be falling down from the
ceiling to the floor, almost two and a half meter. Nonetheless,
very fascinating!
Should work as good as possible now:

Of course we are not where i want to be, TODO states since some
releases
-r should be the Sender:, which should automatically propagate
to From: if possible and/or necessary. It should be possible to
suppress -r stuff from From: and Sender:, but fallback to
special -r arg as appropriate.
but that i wrote after giving up to implement this nicely, it has
to wait for now.
