Solaris sh catastrophe, it may need to be changed a bit?
I have never understood why
IFS=: set -- ${PATH}
does not work, and "for path; do" is not portable for some time to
come, but [ -x ] works well on all that i know? -z and -n do too,
which surprised me given that [ x"$bla" = x ] was very commonly
used when i started Unix.
I think (i just looked) [(1) arrived in BSD in 1992, and i would
be totally surprised if S-nail could work on a system that old,
because of the other requirements that we have. I have not tested
it on old FreeBSD 4.7 since my main machine died, i need some more
VMs around with gcc 2.95 and BSD and Linux around 2001, say, but
older than that? That will be hard. Maybe one day, if we have
worked it, as a fun project. It is not really fun yet ^.^.
