Hello list, I hope you will actually be able to see this message, i am not an administrator and the setup requires some ping-pong.
The problem is that Sourceforge implemented a new policy which bans list administrators from seeing their member list, so that i can *not* mass-unsubscribe and then mass-subscribe what is still subscribed to s-nail-users@! I am terribly sorry. I have opened an issue [1], because i think it is kind of a brain damage (realized on HTTP redirection level as far as i can think) because i can still see email addresses of the whitelist, the blacklist, i handle the moderation queue and of course i can track new subscriptions. ô_ó Unfortunately not the old ones. O_O The new list is [email protected], and i have whitelisted (i hope) all of your addresses, so posting should be possible. Also subscription will not require approval, which i otherwise have enabled because i am not an administrator and i don't want to become one, so this to avoid spam on a sunday night or so. I am terribly sorry for all the inconvience, but i think, after all the Sourceforge ML troubles of the near past, the time is due to move away; if i knew that i need just one day for (hopefully correct) GNU Mailman setup, and would not have refrained from installing python, grrr, ..but it is too late. Please do not post to s-nail-users@ anymore, because this would mess the new archives [2]! At your convinience, just drop me a note and i will subscribe you to [email protected] [3]! This was not our choice nor did we want to do it, but had to to comply with existing data privacy laws. Members will now have to self manage their SourceForge subscriptions. If you wish to migrate your mailing list, you are free to do so but due to the legislation we were forced to comply with, we will not be able to release a list of members e-mail addresses or names to any 3rd party which incluides project administrators.
