*Call for papers *
The long awaited XXth International Conference on the use of Computers in Radiation therapy (ICCR) will be held from July 8 to July 11 2024 in Lyon, France, as an in person meeting. Lyon is a central city in France and can easily be reached by train or plane. ICCR is one of the longest-running conferences in radiation therapy. Held only every three years, it attracts medical physicists, clinicians, and academic scientists from across the globe who are using computers to drive advances in radiation therapy. Due to the Covid pandemic, the XXth ICCR has been significantly delayed and is eagerly anticipated as a milestone in ICCR’s history, re-offering an unparalleled opportunity for attendees to network with colleagues, learn about the latest technological advances, and share their experiences and insights. With a wide range of topics to be covered, including (but not limited to) treatment planning, imaging, dose delivery, predictive modeling, radiomics, Monte-Carlo applications, quality assurance and artificial intelligence… The conference will provide a comprehensive overview of the state-of-the-art use of computers in radiation therapy. The deadline for paper submission is January 31, 2024. The instructions for the 2-4 pages short papers are posted on the ICCR 2024 website, iccr2024.org. We expect the submission portal to open in November. The proceedings will be published in an open archive. We look forward to welcoming you in Lyon in July 2024! David Sarrut & Simon Rit, ICCR 2024 co-chairs
