I believe you're going to need to set one or more of the selinux booleans. Try: setsebool httpd_can_network_connect_db true If that fixes the problem, then to make that persist across boots do: setsebool -P httpd_can_network_connect_db true You may also need to set httpd_can_network_connect to true as well.
