Hi David! I guess you and the topic starter already replied to your question why the new syntax is better :) Really, just have a look at the config posted below. I understand your point but well.. I cannot remember any person who come to the maillist with simple configuration. It's always more or less complex. So if a person would like to read and understand the config written a year ago I'd say there is only way..
