I have a server that send a continuous stream of data log to another server
Linux.

I have a filesystem with 100 Gb.

I edited the file /etc/rsyslog.conf with the string "if $fromhost-ip
startswith 'ip source' then . After that i edited the logrotate with the
following parametres:

   - Notifempty, maxsize 1024M, yearly, rotate 8, compress and i linked to
this a crontab every 5 minutes. This flow is about 1Gb every hour, zipped
   is 60Mb.

Now I have another filesystem of 500Gb, where i have to collect the same
stream for 6 months.

So:

   -

how can i send the same log to different paths? i must edit the
/etc/rsyslog.conf or i have to redirect the log from the destination folder
   to the new folder?
   -

if i have 28Gb/day and i have to keep it for 6 months, which is the best
practise to store it? (how many rotate, what time to start the crontab, etc)

thx
